The watchdog says the technology makes this “easier to produce.” That is a polite way of saying the gates have been left wide open. When I went undercover, I learned that once a doctor labels you “insane,” every sane word you speak is used as proof of your madness. These children are facing a similar institutional trap. Once an image is labeled “public,” the system treats the child’s actual body as secondary to the digital ghost. The category overrides the human.

They call it a “surge.” I call it a failure of the men who build these engines. They have created a factory that churns out trauma, and when the victims cry out, the factory offers them a feedback form. I have seen the way institutions treat those they deem powerless.
